This is the first weekend in three weeks that I won't be in Chicago.

Saw the Ex & Getachew Merukia play for free in Millennium Park. Saw Tony Clifton the night before.

Last night we went to the Fair, despite my claims last yr that I was going to sit this one out. Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings played for free and they were great.

The sky was overcast and kept threatening to rain but never did which seemed to keep a lot of people away from the Fair, it was not the usual mass of humanity to wade through. Best Fair trip ever. Excellent seed art.
